All the Black Guys I Work With Call Me "White Castle"
Hello people!
I got up at 10:30 today.
I went downstairs and said hey to teh rents and had a little something to eat. I sorta killed time til mom dragged me to Wal*Mart with her to do grocery shopping around noon, lol. I picked up some awesome new work pants and a few things for work; juice that was on sale, some candy...we got some stuff for dinner and, finally, we headed home.
I went to my room for a while and worked on turning From Blood & Brain into a hardcover on lulu. It was a total pain in the ass, but I finally did it. I think it came out great, too, so I'm pretty happy with the final product. Except for the price. It's the only way I can make any revenue from it. :3 I feel bad about charging so much, though. It's ridiculous.
Guh, anyway, I did that for a bit, then Nick asked me to drop him off at a friend's house, so I did. When I got back, I helped mom make dinner and went back to my room. I worked a little more on my book until it was completely done (while listening to the Fright Night soundtrack, which is fucktastic). Teh rents and I had dinner in the living room and I did the dishes afterwards.
I made chocolate raviolis for dessert and they were pretty awesome. I picked Nick up from his friend's house and when I got back, mom and I watched the Emmys. They were fantastic. They always are. I love TV. That's all I can say. Title of this post is something Nathan Fillion said. He is amazing. I don't have anything else to say, really, just that the Emmys made me really happy. Optimistic.
I took a shower and now, it's time for bed.
