I'm Really Lookin' Forward to That First Stroke
Hello people!
I had a ridiculous dream.
Unfortunately, I don't recall all of it, just a big detail or two. And those details are: a really awesome girlfriend of mine on Twitter was helping me concoct a plan to get Steven Weber to marry me. And he said yes! He was very, very sweet, actually. It was lovely. :} Unfortunately, my alarm woke me from that wonderful dream and I had to get ready for work.
I actually told teh rents today that I didn't want to go to work, and very nearly stayed home. I was a good girl, though, and went to work. I had one file on my desk. One. All day. Seriously, work was dead today. So, I worked until noon, then asked if I could go home. They said they didn't mind, so I left. I got home around 12:30, had some lunch and did the dishes. Then I went up to my room.
I was up late last night, working on my song, with very little to show for it. So I was determined to finish it and put it up on YouTube today. I spent about three to four hours working on it. It was worth it. I feel really accomplished and really proud of this song. The piano playing could, of course, be better, and the sound isn't the best, but I'm still fucking in love with it. XD I hope you guys like it, too.
After that, I worked on some stuff for Full Sail. I missed a couple of assignments, but thankfully, they didn't count for anything, grade-wise. *whew* I just gotta stay on top of this shit, and stay on top of it, I shall. It'll be worth it in the end, I know. Teh rents came home and I made myself some dinner of chicken tenders (from the freezer) with honey mustard. Very tasty! We gathered in the living room together.
And we watched our shows, including Burn Notice and Suits, both of which were excellent. Speaking of Burn Notice, guess who I got a reply from on Twitter, tonight? BRUCE MOTHERFUCKING CAMPBELL.
The context doesn't even matter. All that matters is BRUCE. GODDAMN. CAMPBELL. I'm so stoked, I don't even know what to do with myself, lol. Um, title of this post is from Burn Notice, btw. I watched Whose Line and now it's time for bed.
