He Was Playing Me Like You'd Play a Fish
Hello people!
Getting up this morning sucked.
I was sleeping really well and it was so hard to get up when my alarm went off. I got ready to go and decided to wear my underbust corset today, ya know, to see how it feels, get used to it, etc. I wore a slightly baggy shirt over it to conceal it, but it didn't really help, lol. I threw a jacket on over that and then finished getting ready. I headed out at 8:30, as ushe.
When I got to work, Jen asked if I'd be up for opening the office every now and then. She's thinking of switching to part-time. I said sure cuz, well, I don't have anything else to do. I did my work - actually, I got a lot done today - and faxed my papers over to Full Sail. That's about all that happened while I was at work. Oh, except, The Cute Guy came in today. He came up to me and said, "I need a hug."
So, of course, I gave him a hug, lol, and he said, "I love ya, sweetie." D'AWW. :3 Later, he came back and thanked me, though I dunno why, lol, I didn't really do anything, and I gave him another hug. At 2:45, I went home. You see, I had to get home ASAP cuz I GOT MY FIRST EVER CAR! We had to catch the lady selling it before she left to get her kid from soccer, hence my coming home early. We left right away.
And now, I officially own a gorgeous, black '92 LeBaron convertible. I love him SO MUCH. I named him Freddy Krueger. ;] We took him home, then went back out to the DMV to get him registered and get plates for him. Teh rents signed me up for insurance while I was at work, so I was all set for that. And when we got back home again, I ordered my custom plates online! They say DOCSAICO! <3
I went upstairs for a bit and just chilled out for a while. Honestly, the rest of the afternoon is a bit of a blur, lol. I did get an email from the people in Albany who own the place I'd like to host the Horror Writers Weekend. They're all for it! In fact, they're, like, really excited about it! :D YAY! The kids wanted ice cream, so I took them out in my dear sweet car to get some. It was awesome. :3
I got a shake and it was gloriously delicious, lol. I spent a little more time in my room, but eventually joined teh rents downstairs to watch Jeopardy! and whatnot. I walked on the treadmill and now, I'm gonna head to bed. Title of this post is from Whose Line, of course.
