But I Can Hold My Own...and I Usually Do
Hello people!
I got up at 8:30 this morning.
I went downstairs right away to do the dishes I'd left there last night. I got 'em all done in about fifteen minutes and went back up to my room. I studied for the test I forgot I had today, painted my nails and watched Frasier. Yeah. Productive morning. I got ready to go, cut up an apple for breakfast and headed out - mom let me take her car today.
I rocked out to my iPod all the way there. It was lovely. I got to school half an hour early and sat in the car for a bit, studying. Then I went to Bones class and took the test. It wasn't bad at all. I got out about twenty minutes early and went to the car. I sat there for a while and read Rising Sun. Around 12:15, I went to Hannaford and picked up some chicken fingers for lunch cuz I was starving.
They were near the deli and were for eating right now, ya know? But I bit into one and it was frozen. Fucking frozen! So I couldn't eat 'em. I went to the hair salon where I had an appointment at 1:00 and went inside at 12:30. I was just gonna sit and wait, but the lady, Gina, said she was ready for me if I wanted to get started. She saw the chicken (which I'd brought in with me so it would thaw) and asked about it.
I explained, and she said she'd pop it in the microwave for me. X] She's sweet. She did and I thanked her. Unfortunately, the chicken got soggy after being in the microwave, lol. *sigh* I just couldn't win. I had half the chicken cuz I was so damn hungry, but still. She started doing my hair and we chatted about random shit; the wedding, politics, whatever. Mom and dad eventually joined us.
At 1:00, dad left to go to an appointment for work, but mom stuck around with me. My hair came out AMAZING. I think it's one of the best haircuts I've ever gotten. :3
Mom and I went to the library after that, then went on home. Dad came home and he and mom went to an appointment together. I went upstairs and played Splinter Cell for a while. I was just really in the mood to play, lol. Teh rents came home about an hour later and the three of us went out to dinner at Applebee's. We just got appetizers; boneless wings, mozzerella sticks. I also got a small salad.
We had fun together, and I drove us home. Unfortunately, the salad didn't sit well with me. Every time I get a salad there, it makes me sick. I dunno why I keep trying to have their salads, lol. God. I went back upstairs for a while and played a little longer. At 7:30, I went downstairs to watch Jeopardy! with teh rents. Then, back to my room I went. They watched some shows I had no interest in.
I played til 9:30, then went downstairs and took my shower. I joined teh rents afterwards and we watched three eps of Whose Line. It was HILARIOUS. Title of this post is from it. Now, I gotta get to bed. Gotta fucking WORK tomorrow. GROSS.
