Why Are You Screaming? I Haven't Even Cut You Yet

Hello people!

I had a sort of nightmare.

I was driving home at night in mom's car. We usually turn down a side road to get home faster. I turned down the side road and suddenly came upon a woman in the middle of the road. She is one of the regular customers at Rite Aid. She was a zombie. Yep, a fucking zombie. And she was wielding an axe. She swung to hit the left headlight of mom's car.

I swerved and was sure she missed me. I continued driving just a bit further, then stopped the car. I wasn't sure what to do; should I go home and have her possibly follow me there? Or should I go back and try to kill her? Or was there another option I wasn't considering? I decided I didn't want her following me home and hurting my family, so I threw the car into reverse and stopped when I reached her.

I went to get out of the car and attack, when I woke up. Except, I didn't actually wake up. I finally experienced a dream within a dream, which I don't think I've ever been through before. The second dream (or was it still the first?) involved me getting out of bed and going downstairs. I told mom and dad about my dream with the axe-wielding zombie woman, then went to the bathroom to take my shower.

And I think that's when I actually woke up. It was 8:00 when my alarm went off. I saw a piece of paper by my door and picked it up. It said, "Nandy - take my car to school. Be careful! Love, Mom." So I went back to sleep for an hour, LOL. It was great. At 9:00, I officially got up and got ready. Teh rents got up before I had to go and I got to say hello to them, so that was nice. I left around 10:20.

I got to school not too long after that and went to my Bones class. We just went over the second part of the axial skeleton, which we'll be quizzed on next week. It's all pretty easy, so I'm not worried about it. After that, I went to the cafeteria for lunch. I watched the Nightmare on Elm Street remake. It was so terrible, oh my god. I sorta thought the bad things I'd heard about it might be a little exaggerated.

No way. It was every bit as horrible as I'd heard, and more. The only things I thought were just okay were some of the lines were funny (like the title of this post), but otherwise, it blew. In short, Jackie Earle Haley did not pull off Fred Krueger at all. The film-makers ruined a lot of classic scenes and the arrangement of the film was god-awful. That's all I'm gonna say about it, cuz, well? It's just bad.

At 2:00, I went to Fiction Writing. We critiqued each others' short stories and that's just about all we did. It was utterly boring, to be honest. We got out five minutes and I walked over towards the parking lot. Mom texted me and let me know that she needed to switch cars so she could get to her appointment. We did, and I took dad's car home. I got there at 4:00-ish and basically did chores immediately.

I stoked the fire, I made myself a small snack and made a hot dog for Nick, did the dishes, fed the pets dinner. Eventually, I took Nick to work. When I got back, teh rents were home. We had dinner - spaghetti! - and watched Jeopardy! and The Middle. The latter was hilarious tonight! :D Twas a pretty good episode. <3 I took a nap so I could be awake when I have to get Nick at midnight.

Still exhausted, but I gotta get going. I'm going right back to sleep when we get home.

Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*
