People in Uniforms...Um...Gay Strippers!
Hello people!
The blog's comin late tonight, I know, but I've been rather busy today.
Let's see...oh! Okay, so, last night, the hotel room we stayed in had one bed (for my rents) and a fold-out couch. For those of you that aren't paying attention, that meant I had to sleep in the same bed as my brother. Guh. I hate that. Not that it happens often, but usually everytime we stay in a hotel, my bro and I have to share a bed.
Anywho, my bro tends to kick in his sleep. We put a pillow between us to try to keep him from kicking me. It did NOT work. He kicked me awake multiple times last night, so much so, that I only slept, like, a total of four hours. It sucked. Majorly. When I got up, I wasn't in the best of moods, one might say, which kinda pissed off my mom.
We packed up, checked out, and headed for Rockport. That was pretty fun, although half the stores were closed when we got there (I don't think they opened til 11:00 or noon). We went to this awesome little pewter shop (my dad collects pewter figures) and I got an adorable teeny little dragon pewter figure. The lady that worked there also gave me and my bro free little "inspirational" stones. Mine had a lamp on one side, and "3 wishes" on the other side. <3
ZOMG, we also went to this awesome place called, "Top Dog." It's a hot dog restaurant where all the hot dogs are named after types of dog. Like, a plain ol' hot dog is called a Purebred, a hot dog with cheese, bacon, and onions is called a Bad Dog, etc. They're really delicious, lemme tell ya. Plus, there's chairs lining the wall, and there's a huge chalkboard along the wall in front of the chairs.
People are sposed to draw on the chalkboard, so that's what we did. All four of us; my dad drew a dragon blowing fire onto a hot dog (<3), my mom just wrote "DOERFLERS WERE HERE FROM OHIO," my bro wrote "Derf" a couple times, and I wrote, "TOP DOG=FTW!" and drew a cartoon-ish Stephen Colbert, then wrote, "STEPHEN COLBERT APPROVED!" X] It was mucho fun, I gotsta say.
After that, we got some ice cream (and holy moo, there was a LOT of it), then we got to our rented vacation house. It's no't as big as last year's, but it's really cooly. There's a gorgeous view and stairs leading down to a dock on the water behind the house. It's loverly. We pretty much just hung around all afternoon/night following the unloading of the van.
My bro and I played Scattegories, which used to be one of our favorite board games ever, so that was fun! One of the things on one of the lists was "people in uniforms," and my bro kept saying his answers out loud (which you're not sposed to do, but we weren't keeping score, lol), and he said, "People in uniform...um...gay strippers!" I just thought it was one of the funniest things ever. He was so blunt about it, and it was freakishly random. *LOVES*
That's about it. Tomorrow's a chill day, so not much will have happened when it's time for blogging.
