Hello people!
I had a cool dream.
Toby Turner planned a birthday party for me. I don't even know Toby, LOL, not sure why he'd plan a party for me, but it was awesome and full of celebrities. It was in, like, a huge ballroom or something. I went on stage with some friends while Toby spoke about some of the celebrities who were there, and then I woke up. It was around 10:30 when I got out of bed.
I went downstairs and wished mom a happy birthday! Then we all watched Bones together. It was excellent, but the ending was a bit of a let-down. After that, mom and dad watched The A-Team and I took a shower. I went into the kitchen and did the dishes while watching The People's Court and Divorce Court. I used to LOVE those shows. Watched 'em all the time. I never see them anymore.
They were great, lol. Ridiculous, but great. XD I made myself a coffee drink after I finished the dishes and joined mom and dad in the living room. We started watching The American. It was really, terribly boring. We only watched about twenty, thirty minutes before turning it off. I still don't know what the point of it was or what George Clooney's character was supposed to do. *shrugs*
Teh rents went out and picked up dinner and dessert, then we watched Salt. It was better than The American, but the end was sort of...well, open-ended. It's wide open for a second one, but I don't know if the plot was strong enough for another one... We'll see what happens, I guess. Anywho, we watched Jeopardy! and two eps of Parenthood, which mom got on DVD for her birthday. :]
I only saw bits and pieces of the first few eps, so I liked watching them. Now we're all going to bed. I gotta get up to work, 8-4, tomorrow. I gotta tell you, just thinking about working there really depresses me. Mom said we're gonna go to her office this weekend to print out copies of my spec, my treatment and my query letters. It feels good to know I'm moving forward. I'm taking a risk here.
I've done what I think is the best I can do and I'm just gonna go ahead with my plans, even if they may not be the best move. I think following my instincts will work. Here's hoping. Title of this post is from an ep of NewsRadio, btw.
Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*
