Hello people!
Did I mention how annoying my family is sometimes? Cuz jeezus fucking christ, they can be annoying. My dad asked how to unsubscribe to my blog, not because I said my parents don't know how inappropriate half the stuff I watch is, but because I said my rents were annoying me cuz they wouldn't take me to that Stephen Colbert on Broadway thing. I mean, jeezus, I was just mad at them at the time. It's not like I think they're always annoying.
And my dad's all like, "Your friends read that and prolly think we're terrible now." or whatever. I was like, "My friends don't even know you, they're not gonna make snap judgements on you just cuz I vented when I was angry." But yeah, now he (and my mom) are all pissy about my calling them annoying. Well ya know what? Sometimes they fucking are!
Plus, my mom's been yelling at me randomly since, like, 4:30 and it's really starting to piss me off. I'm not even doing anything (I may be a tad depressed about having to do chores, but that's it), and yet, she's being mean to me. And I'm just venting here, I don't, like, hate my rents or anything. Just, sometimes, being cooped up with them all the time can get to you, ya know?
Anyway, now that that's done...I went to Jen's grad party today! It was quite fun! The thing is, I didn't think I'd have a lotta fun cuz I just tend not to like parties, but I totally enjoyed myself. I hung out with Jen for an hour-ish and she took me, Michael, and a couple other people through this trail thing and to the caves (in Indian Village). That was cool.
And then we went back to the lodge-esque area and all these people I don't know were playing Apples to Apples, so Michael and I joined in. Then Michael had to go to work (aww, sad!), but I continued playing. We played for, like, 40 minutes-ish and then the group kinda just dissipated. Then Jen introduced me to Mrs. Messick, who has no gag reflex and loves Stephen Colbert (which means she's MADE OF WIN, lol). She'll be my AP Gov't teacher next year!
Then Mrs. Messick, Josie, Kate, Sam, another girl I don't know, and myself all played Apples to Apples (yes, I played it again, lol, I love that game!) for about fifteen minutes before my rents came to pick me up. So, yeah, overall, I had a great time! WHOO! \o/ ...what does that little \o/ even mean? I see it a lot, but I'm not 100% clear on the meaning...
When we got home, we watched "The Lost World," with Jeff Goldblum. Lemme say that a *young* Jeff Goldblum is rather, well, hot, imo. He looks fantastic in this movie and that is <3. But, the inconsistencies between the movie and the book kinda bug me. I mean, JEEZ, they're so not anywhere near being similar. The only thing so far that is the same is that Malcolm is going to Isla Sorna. I mean, the conditions of the trip aren't even the same! *sigh* Oh, well.
I wanted to play with my bro some more, but Nick (bro) said he didn't want to...which is, like, insane, cuz he *constantly* wants to play and is frequently asking me to play with him. And now that I actually want to play, he suddenly doesn't want to anymore. Well, fine, lol. I'll just play GTA: Vice City by myself. X]
GAHA, okay, the title of this post is actually something my bro said while we were playing Sonic 2. There's a level, I think called, "Casino Night," where it's like a casino - there are, like, slot-machine-esque things that you can jump into and get rings. And there's these bouncy things you can jump on that make a lotta noise. Sometimes, you get stuck in the bouncy areas.
When you have two people playing (as Sonic and Tails), Sonic's viewpoint controls the screen. So, if you're playing as Sonic, the camera follows you. If you're playing as Tails, you get left behind. I was playing as Sonic and Nick was Tails (the way it's always been, lol), and I jumped up onto this ledge out of this bouncy things area.
Nick was still stuck in the bouncy things area, so you could hear a bunch of noises in the background while I kept moving forward. And he said, "Why do I keep making bouncy noises?" and I thought it was hilarious. So, I made an icon of it and decided to use it as the title of this post.
Um...that's about it...really. I feel like writing but don't really have the energy to do so. *shrugs*
Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*
