Insane is One of Our Specialties
Hello people!
Dad woke me up at 8:30 this morning.
I had my alarm set for 9:00, but dad got me up anyway. For no reason. I slept for another twenty minutes and then went downstairs. The first thing I did (and was told to do) was call Adirondack Community College so I could ask if the work study papers had arrived yet (which they were supposed to do weeks ago). The lady said they hadn't yet, call back on Monday.
*shakes head* So, I took a shower. Didn't have anything else to do. I got dressed, grabbed my computer and went back downstairs. I spent most of the day helping mom with work stuff. It was boring and suckish and really difficult to explain things on the computer to mom. BUT, we eventually got through it. I made myself something to eat and then mom had me make a run to the store for ice cream.
We were both feeling kind of "meh" so we were craving treats. We chowed down and then mom went into the kitchen to do work and I went into the living room to watch Prison Break. I only watched two eps, but they were intense. I hate that fucking bitch of a president, and if someone doesn't kill her, I'm gonna be pissed. I also really wish T-Bag had continued with the therapy, lol. X]
Around 5:00, mom and I went out to measure rooms for some guy's house, but it appeared that the guy wasn't there. We knocked on the door, but he never answered, so we left. We went to mom's office cuz she had to make some fliers. I stayed in the car for a bit, but it got too hot and I had to go inside. Plus, mom needed my help. They have pretty old computers at mom's office, it's ridiculous.
Mom spent damn near a half hour trying to get her fliers to print so that they fit on one page, then I spent another half hour trying to do the same. The settings were so weird and hidden away, that it took me a long time to find the right one. And, I had to save, edit, save, re-upload and re-insert a picture into the flier so it would all fit on one page. But, we FINALLY did it and it was a huge relief, lol.
We printed off enough copies and went on home. I fed the pets dinner, watched Charmed with mom, did the dishes. Mom and I spent the night in the kitchen, watching TV. Mom got some work done, but I mostly just chilled and did nothing. Eventually, I made a late dinner - mom wasn't hungry, so it was for me and dad, when he got home. When dad came home, he ate and we chatted a little.
Then we watched Burn Notice, which the title of this post is from. We're all about to go to bed. I feel like I had more to say, but I don't know what about...I'm exhausted and I've gotta get to bed.
