Hello people!
I had terrible nightmares last night.
I'm still not sure if I want to re-live them to put them down for posterity, or if I just want to forget about them forever...all right, I'm gonna try to explain the one thing that really terrified me. It's hard to put into words, but I'll try. My dad and I were in the car with some random dude. He was driving. Somehow, we wound up in a lake and none of us could get out.
The driver was drowning in the water that had filled the car, but, for some reason, my dad and I were unaffected by the water. We could still breathe. Some kind of weird pressure thing happened with the driver and he suddenly vomited his voice box and lungs. I know it's bizarre, but the driver was horrified. He screamed, but no sound came out. Somehow, I knew that he had severe internal bleeding.
And that the bleeding would kill him slowly, as well as the water and pressure in the car. And the whole time, dad was chuckling, muttering something like, "Well, he shouldn't have gotten himself into such a mess." More happened, but I honestly can't remember it. But that guy being so scared and in such pain really upset me. When I woke up, I was kind of gasping for air.
It was 9:30 when I got up and went downstairs. Mom was out for a walk with the dogs, so I put my eyes in and crap, did the dishes. Mom came home and she dawdled until she finally took her shower. I really can't reember what else I did while she took her shower...um, but I finally finished Memento. It was decent. Completely weird, but decent. Then I made myself a sandwich for lunch.
Eventually, mom and I got in a fight (god, it seems like that's all any of us ever do nowadays...) and I went upstairs. Nick defended me and went upstairs, too. I played video games for a bit to chill out and then went back down to apologize to mom. She wouldn't hear it. She yelled at me and basically didn't care that I was sorry. So I got pissed off again and went back to my room.
I spent a long time looking at screencaps of Robert Knepper's role on Heroes. I'm seriously thinking of getting the fourth season from Netflix just so I can see his parts. It actually looked really cool, so I'm intrigued anyway. And, besides, I used to watch that show all the time. /justifying. Um, I went downstairs when mom told me to make the salad for dinner.
I fed the pets, then made the salad and watched Charmed. Dad came home, cooked the steak for dinner and we all ate, though teh rents ate out on the breezeway and I ate in the kitchen. I think mom's just gonna ignore me all night. *sigh* She and dad went for a little drive and I ate a Drumstick for dessert. I'm prepared to eat another. I binge all the time, everyday when I'm depressed.
Randomly, title of this post is from the Food Network Challenge that was on last night. They had to make Dora the Explorer cakes. One of them was HUGE and the head fell right off onto the floor. It was kind of hilarious, despite being devastating at the same time, lol. Anywho, we're watching Last Comic Standing now, which has been utterly disappointing, since my fave comedian was voted off first.
But whatever. Gotta do the dishes after this and then I'm gonna watch
Robert Knepper videos on YouTube. Oh, and, I found
this bitching necklace that I completely intend to buy once I've secured a work study job. Why? Cuz it reminds me of Prison Break. That's a plenty good enough reason. ;] Okay, the end.
Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*
