Where the Boys Wear More Make-Up Than the Girls!
Hello people!
I have no idea what my dreams were last night.
I just know that they kept me tossing and turning. I feel like I didn't get any sleep at all. Dad got me up at 9:00 and I had to go downstairs. I wanted desperately to just go back to sleep. Mom and dad were getting ready to head out to run some errands. I did a couple chores after they left, and took my shower, but I forgot about a couple chores. *facepalm*
I wanted to get the stuff that I'd taped on the DVR off the list so that mom and dad would have more space and they wouldn't nag me about watching that stuff. So I watched a movie I taped. I had half an hour left when teh rents came home and I got yelled at for having the TV on during the day. GRRR. I had to dust and vacuum, then sweep the kitchen. After that, I made myself a grilled cheese sandwich.
I went upstairs to eat it cuz it was pretty hot downstairs today and my room was air-conditioned, lol. I went back downstairs when I was done with my sandwich and washed all the dishes in the sink. Then I went back upstairs and played Vice City for a while. Mom left for a meeting at work, but she called me on the road to ask me to think of something for us to do tonight while dad and Nick were out.
See, Nick had a school dance to go to, and dad had the late shift tonight (meaning he works from 3:00 PM to 9:30 PM). So, mom and I thought about going out to dinner or something. I continued to play til mom came home around 2:30. I spent some time with her before getting ready to go. I made some food for us to bring to dad - mom told me that we needed to bring him some dinner.
Then I had the idea that mom and I could have a picnic in the park down the street from our house. Mom's always wanting to spend time outside. So I made us each something for dinner - a wrap for mom, a sandwich for me. We had to bolt out of the house to go pick up Nick's GF. We rushed back home after that to take some pictures outside and to grab a couple things that we forgot.
We quickly went back out and took the kids to the dance. We were actually early, lol! Mom drove me around a little to show me a lake or something. *shrugs* Then we went to dad's work and gave him his dinner. We chatted for a while and then I drove when we left. We decided to nix the picnic and go to Olive Garden. :3 We haven't been in a long time and we missed it dearly. So I took us there.
We got the ushe: salad, chicken fingers. We skipped dessert cuz we were both really full (plus, we have dessert at home). We went home after that. I fed the cats dinner and then mom and I watched the end of Jeopardy!. We couldn't watch anything that was on TV tonight cuz dad was at work, so we decided on a Netflix movie: Nine to Five. Classic 80s. I've never seen it, but it was hilarious! XD
Dad came home as the movie ended and we watched tonight's ep of Burn Notice, which was KICKASS. It reminded me of the bank-robbing episode of Leverage. That ep is one of my faves! :D Anywho, now I'm heading to bed cuz I'm damn tired. Title of this post is from one of the radio stations in Vice City, lol. <3
