Here's a Shovel; Can You Dig It, Fool?

Hello people!

I know I had dreams, but I don't remember what they were.

Got up at 7:00 this morning so I could go to school with mom. I took my shower and got ready pretty quickly. I ate a sandwich real quick and then mom and I left around 8:00, I think. Maybe 8:30? Anywho, we finally got to her school at 9:30-ish. She went in and I chilled in the car, like I used to when she worked for Invisible Fence. It was really fun, I actually love doing that. :3

I listened to music, read my book - Spiderman, Wanted: Dead or Alive - which I've read before but it's a great book and I'm in a superhero mood lately. I slept for half an hour, read some more, then mom came out at noon and we went to lunch. We went to this cute little 50s themed diner. It was awesome! They had fantastic food, too; we got a turkey club and an appetizer of chicken fingers, both of which we split.

We were thinking about dessert (chocolate layered cheesecake OMG) but we were both too full by the end of the meal. We had to make a few necessary stops at LOWE'S, Wal*Mart and Hannaford. We got window boxes for mom's flowers and a new curling iron (she dropped hers in the toilet, LOL). Mom got me a new hair clip that is AMAZING. It's sleek and rounded and doesn't bite into my scalp.

I luh it. We picked up some food at Hannaford before going home. I took in the groceries while mom took Nick out to get some food and coffee; His GF went to prom with her ex today, and it was really hard on Nick. I put the groceries away, took the dogs out and listened to Lonely Island for a while. Checked my email, Twitter, blah blah blah. When mom got home, Nick went upstairs.

I did some dishes before mom and I went onto the breezeway and chilled together for a while. Eventually, dad came home, we had dinner, then the three of us sat down to watch Daybreakers (we rented it earlier). I was really excited. I mean, come on, Sam Neill AND Willem Dafoe? Fuck yeah, please and thank you. But the movie turned out to be WAY more gory than I thought it would be.

I seriously have no idea why it didn't occur to me that a movie about vampires who harvest humans for their blood would be gory, but yeah. And it was disgusting and gross and I just couldn't watch it. It made me nauseous. So after about fifteen minutes, I went upstairs. Mom and dad watched the rest of the movie, and they really liked it, so I'm glad it wasn't a total waste - I begged mom to get the movie, you see.

I watched TV and listened to music (title of this post is from "Whoomp, There It Is"). At 10:00, I went downstairs and talked to mom for a bit. She and dad had a fight, so she was kinda on edge. We went up to her room to hang out for a bit. We talked and watched some more TV and then I went to go to bed, but I knew Nick was still feeling down, so I decided to visit him and see how he was doing.

We ended up hanging out for a while. He was hilarious, OMG. I swear, he does a dead-on impression of Sgt. Lincoln Osiris. Ya know, RDJ's character from Tropic Thunder. He had me freaking rolling on the floor, he was so funny. I said I gotta write my blog and go to bed, so we said good night and now, here we are, LOL. I'm gonna get to sleep, I'm exhausted.

Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*
