Animals Are Your Friends! Animals Are My Dinner
Hello people!
I don't remember my dreams from last night at all. *shrugs*
I didn't get up til 10:10 today. I just...I needed more sleep. I'm so sick of feeling so restless all the time. It's constant and endless and I'm just so exhausted. Ugh. So, I got up, went downstairs and said hi to dad. He took a shower and I got online for a bit. I did the dishes when dad left for work. I don't really remember what else I did all morning. Not much. Took a shower. Watched TV.
Mom came home at about 11:30 and I made her lunch. I had a sandwich, myself, and ate with her in the kitchen. She was feeling off and a little down (which I've been feeling like for days) so I hugged her and suggested we go out. I thought maybe getting out of the house might help. We got some ice cream and then went to the grocery store. We did have fun together and it was nice to get out.
We got some great stuff at the store and came home at about 3:30. I put away the groceries and Nick pissed mom off, lol. You see, Nick's GF is going to prom with her EX boyfriend (who is a MAJOR jackass and sometimes threatens Nick) because they bought tickets together. I've never heard of this cuz it wasn't this way at my high school, but apparently you have to go with the person you got tickets with?
I'm told that's how most schools do it. I understand the reason for it (food and seating and whatnot) but for situations like this, it's fucking dumb. And Nick's just standing for it. GF keeps acting like a bitch and he keeps letting it happen. *shakes head* He's so very naive and immature. Anywho, mom and I brought the patio furniture out of the barn and then she prepped dinner.
We chilled together, watching TV, munching on the chips and dip we got today. Eventually, dad came home and mom started dinner. We had ribs and potato salad. <3 I LOVE potato salad, lol. After that, it was Jeopardy! time, of course, and guess what?! Jurassic Park was one of the questions/answers! I saw "Sam Neill and two kids" and knew what the answer was right away, LOL. XD
*happy sigh* I did the dishes after dinner and then there were two new eps of WifeSwap on! :D So I went up to my room to watch both of 'em; the first one wasn't very good, but the second one was. Title of this post is from the latter, lol. And now I'm gonna head to bed cuz I'm really tired. Dad's putting our ACs in our windows cuz it's sposed to be in the 80s and 90s the next coupla days.
