Hello people!
I know I had dreams, but yeah, I don't remember them.
My alarm went off at 9:00 today, but I said fuck it and decided to sleep some more. The actual thought in my head before I fell back to sleep was, "Today is Saturday. I'm gonna sleep until I'm not tired anymore." I woke up again later and though it had been hours and hours - I guessed it was somewhere around 1:00 or 2:00, which worried me a little, lol. But when I checked the clock, it was 10:11.
I was shocked, lol, but I figured I should get up right away or I'd end up sleeping all day, which would definitely piss off my parents. So I went downstairs and noticed that teh rents were gone. I went into the kitchen and did the dishes. Then I took the dogs out, and as I was about to come back inside, teh rents came home. We brought the dogs in and Nick and I helped them with groceries.
Mom made us a lunch consisting of hot dogs. So yummy. I then did the dishes again, lol. Teh rents decided to give us an early Easter present. We got headphones! OMG, Nick's been using my headphones, so I've needed new ones. SO STOKED. And they're blue! :D Dad got ready to go to work and left around 1:00. I took a shower after that and then mom wanted to go outside for a bit, so we sat out on the back patio together.
I painted my toenails while out there, then read a little of The First Five Pages. That book is quite interesting and very informative. After about half an hour, maybe forty minutes, I went inside. It was getting hot and I wanted to avoid further sunburn. I got online for a bit, then mom started cooking and baking, so I offered to help. I spent a couple hours in the kitchen helping mom. She then took a bath.
I decided to stay in the kitchen; it was really bright and there was a lovely breeze coming in the windows. I worked on my TV script whilst watching a show called, Disappeared, about people who, you guessed it, disappear. It was pretty interesting. I didn't get much done on my script, unfortunately, but a little work is better than none at all. I ate dinner and did a third round of dishes.
I checked my flist just for today's updates. Here's the thing: I'm in, like, a MILLION comms. And most of my flist is filled with their posts. And a lot of those posts are repeat posts. So I think I'm gonna sift through those tomorrow and see what I can eliminate. I read Fandom!Secrets for the first time in months. I remembered why I love it there, lol. X] They really make me feel more normal, sometimes.
Dad came home at 10:00 and he had his dinner super late. We all watched TV for a while, then we had mom's AWESOME peanut butter chocolate pie. OMG, it was so delicious. Fluffy and deadly sweet and creamy and just pure yum. We watched a little more TV before deciding to go to bed. Title of this post is something RDJ said about Jude and himself in Sherlock Holmes.
It's either from the Blu-Ray Live thingy from a couple nights ago or from the DVD commentary, but I'm pretty sure it's the former. The person who posted it had confusing credits listed for the line, lol. Oh! I have an announcement to make! I am holding a contest! I will be giving away some really cool prizes to the person that can solve the murder mystery that I'll be presenting to you soon.
I'll give you the scene, the suspects, the evidence and clues, and you have to figure out who killed the victim, how they did it and what their motive was. The prizes are: The Best of The Colbert Report DVD, SNL: The First Five Years DVD, The Daily Show and Philosophy book, the first Tek Jansen comic, and two t-shirts from BustedTees (both women's medium). You don't have to sign up or anything to participate.
Once I've posted everything, feel free to present your cases. Comments will be screened so as not to spoil the fun. :] Anywho, um, time to head off to bed, I spose. Tomorrow's Easter! :D AND RDJ's BIRTHDAY! XD
Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*
