I Make Seven-Layer Bean Dip of the Gods

Hello people!

I had a stupid dream last night.

Nick's girlfriend was living with us. Our house was way different; it was a brand new, sparkling, modern-designed place, which was odd, cuz mom and dad don't really like modern design. I had just gotten out of a shower and was heading to my room when I heard mom and dad talking to one of Nick's guy friends who was over to hang out. They asked the friend if he could stay overnight.

Why? They didn't want Nick alone with his girlfriend. At some point, I called Nick a dumbass in front of teh rents, which I would never do in real life; I just can't swear in front of my parents. I laughed after I swore in my dream. Then I woke up. Totally weird, right? Mom got me up at 9:00 this morning, informing me that her business meeting had been cancelled today. So she invited me to join her and dad in a day of fun.

I said sure and went to take my shower and get ready. We left around 11:00. We went to Johnny Rocket's. Twas delicious and fun. X] Throughout the day, we stopped at random places I can't remember, atm, lol. Eventually, we went to the library book sale. There wasn't a whole lot there, unfortunately, but I did find a Michael Crichton book that I don't already have. There were actually a bunch of those there.

But, I didn't have money to get them. In fact, we'd all only brought credit cards (they only take cash/checks). We were gonna leave without getting any books, but this really nice lady behind me in the aisle I was in was like, "Do you need 50 cents?" (that's how much the Crichton book I wanted cost). I was hesitant to take it, cuz, ya know, I dunno, I'm not sposed to take stuff from people. *shrugs*

And the lady was like, "I've got extra change, don't worry about it. Wouldn't want you to come back and find that the book you want isn't here! Did you want any other books?" I said no and thanked her profusely. She was so nice! :D <333 Teh rents and I meandered upstairs to check out the actual library section where we could check out books and shit. I browsed the DVDs and found Wonder Boys!

I wanna see it (RDJ lookin' adorable and, I believe, being gay, lol), but I don't have a library card, so I didn't check it out today. I'll go back another time and stock up on every RDJ movie they have. I can have an RDJ-athon! WHOOT! I also picked up some Starbucks coffee at one point, lol, and that was tasty. Then we stopped at the grocery store before heading home. We got there at about...3:30? I think?

Nick was an asshole to everyone when he got home because he [a] lost the ball on his lip-ring that keeps it in his lip, [b] forgot his house key so he was locked out (he gets home at 2:30), and [c] we weren't available to be home THAT SECOND to let him in. Whatever, he's constantly a jerk, lol. Nothing new there. We played a little Wii and I did a terribly shitty job in all the challenges it presented me with, lol.

I suck at sports. X] Anywho, um, we watched TV after that. We were in the mood for calzones, so I treated everyone. It was awesome, they were very good. Um, and that's about all we've done tonight. Title of this post is a line from Nathan Fillion's song "I'm Better Than Neil," which is from Commentary! - The Musical. And now, I'm exhausted and would very much like to go to bed, lol.

Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*
