You're Far...Far Too England...for Paris
Hello people!
I woke up to my alarm at 8:00 this morning after a terrible night of sleep.
I couldn't fall asleep til 4:00 and woke up on and off for the next four hours. I took my shower immediately and got ready to go to the car dealership. We left at 9:45 and got there at 10:00. I went in and talked to David and he informed me that I would be accompanying him and another girl who's interested in the position to another branch of the dealership where they have a call center going already.
That's what David wants to set up. So, he, this girl and I are gonna go observe the call center, ask questions and get a feel for what we'd be doing. Then we're gonna go to lunch and go over figures and salary and whatnot. David said, "Hopefully, you can start on Wednesday." :D So, I pretty much have the job. And the pay is awesome; I get an hourly salary PLUS commission for whatever customers I get to come in!
I'm pretty excited about the pay, lol, but I'm terrified about tomorrow; I'm not good at coming up with questions. 99% of the time, they honestly don't even occur to me. I suck at asking questions. *shakes head* So I'm scared that I'm not gonna be up to par tomorrow, but oh well. Dad and I went to Burger King and he got me hash browns and Sprite. DELICIOUS. We had to run to the library, Wal*Mart and Hannaford real quick.
Then we went on home. I had a ton of chores to do, so I got those done as fast as possible. I laid down on the couch when I was done and popped in 24. I watched two episodes before I passed out on the couch for a good hour or two. I woke up at 5:00 and watched the news and Friends with dad. Mom came home and we watched Seinfeld. Um, then we went about the usual night; Jeopardy!, Chuck, etc.
We ordered calzones from the place down the street and I paid for dinner, which was cool. I liked buying dinner for everyone, lol. Now we're just chilling out, waiting for Castle to start. Title of this post was a line in a fanfic I read last night (said by Holmes to Watson). I LOVE that line. I think it's...gorgeous. Um, what else? I gotta get up early again tomorrow cuz that work meeting thing is at 10:00. *headdesk*
I was gonna vent here, but I don't even have the energy to type it all out. Just know that I'm frustrated with dad right now, but that I'm probably gonna cave and do what he wants me to cuz, well, what he wants is a smart money-saver and mine isn't. Anywho, um, oh, well, I talked to Mr. Kurt Ludlow a ton today. That made my day, let me tell you. For all the blahness that I have felt today, Kurt has made it that much better.
And now, my friends, I shall go back to my ice cream.
