Go Shawty, It's Ya Birfday, We Gon' Party Like It's Ya Birfday
Hello people!
IT'S MY BIRTHDAY! I'M NINETEEN!
I was up late last night reading Holmes/Watson slash on the Sherlock Kink Meme. *headdesk* I also wrote a couple prompts! :D That was fun. Lemme know if you wanna read 'em and I'll put 'em up on here, but they're both smut and the pair doesn't talk all that much, lol. I need to be exposed (hehe) to more Holmes before I can capture his or Watson's character. Anywho, I finally went to bed around 2:30.
I woke up at 4:37, thought it was closer to 11:00, moved my shade just to make sure it was still dark outside and went back to sleep. I officially woke up around 10:00 and got up. I spent the next hour sifting through the 200 emails I had from LJ, telling me that knew comments had been added to the Sherlock Kink Meme. I have since stopped tracking it, lol. I also had a ton of people wishing me Happy Birthday on Facebook! <3
It just needs to be made known that I have the coolest friends ever (obviously, you guys included). I went downstairs at 11:00 to say hi to the rents and take a shower. Mom was sposed to have a meeting with The Bobs (what we call her two bosses cuz they're Hellish like the guys from Office Space [you'll only get that reference if you've seen Office Space, lol]), but it was cancelled because it SNOWED today! <333
It was a birthday miracle! :D We chilled out and did nothing for a while. Dad made me a meatball sandwich for lunch. Mom and I played a little WiiBowling and WiiTennis. Then I opened my presents, which consisted of; a Metal Gear Solid poster I wanted(! :D), Spycraft (which is a historical account of the CIA and other government happenings), Ultimate Spy and a brand spankin' new watch! It's simple and gorgeous.
Mom had to go out to meet with someone then, and dad was painting in the kitchen, so I watched TV in the living room. There were two eps of Wife Swap on today that I've never seen before! :D So awesome! <3 Around 3:30, dad took me to the grocery store with him. We got some supplies for cake-making and for dinner. We got home just in time for Grounded for Life. Mom came home at almost the same time! :D
We chilled in the kitchen and watched some Brian Regan while mom made cake and dad prepped dinner. Pete, our electrician and a really cool dude, came by to see if he could put two outlets in my room cuz I need them in order to move everything around. It seems that, unfortunately, the wiring would have to go through little metal pipes on the outside rather than being in the walls cuz the house is so old.
Stupid. Stupid stupid fucking stupid. Oh well. Now I have a choice to make: should I not move my room around? Should I simply use extension cords when moving my room around? Or should I have Pete put in the ugly new outlets and just hope my stuff covers them up well enough? I dunno. Pete left about half an hour later and we sat down for dinner. We went to the living room after that to hang out.
Mom and dad played a little Wii and now, we're watching some weird movie called, "Rock Star." *shrugs* Oh, we had some cake, too. ;] Red velvet, baby! <3 So good. Wanna see my sexy new phone wallpaper? You know you do. I seriously have been obsessing over Sherlock Holmes all day tody. I want to see the movie again so desperately. *shakes head* I think I'm gonna try to work on some more prompts.
OH! I made some Sherlock icons and put 'em in my userpics. I'm so freaking excited to use 'em. XD
