Hello people!
Today was actually pretty good! I got to see Jen, which was nice, cuz I haven't seen her in a bit.
Let's see, in Math, we took a quiz, and I think I did okay on it. So, yay! Um, then, in Chem, we kinda just had a work period, which sucked, but s'all good. In AP Euro, we had to go to the band room which I'm not gonna explain cuz it'll take too long but I totally spaced on it, and was heading outside to the trailer. Jen stepped inside as I was stepping out and I was like, "Hey, Jen!" and she was like, "Aren't you guys in the band room today?" and I replied, "Oh, shit, you're right." My memory sucks so many noodles, lol.
So, AP Euro was just another free period. And in German, we had *another* free period. To be quite honest, I've actually been going most of my homework done during study hall, so I don't have much need for a bunch of free periods, and am, therefore, getting rather sick of them. But, I guess, what can ya do? I kinda enjoy not doing work (lol), but sometimes doing SOMETHING is better than sitting there for 50 minutes doing NOTHING.
Adam tightened a snare drum in German today. Frau's in this whole Civil War re-enactment thing, and I dunno why she brought the drum in today (I think it was for another friend, Jody). But it was really loose and screwed up, so Adam randomly started tightening it and after about 20 minutes of that, lol, he fixed it and it sounded great! So I started tapping on it and kinda couldn't stop for the duration of the period. I mean, it wasn't non-stop, but I kept tapping every now and then. Hehe!
We watched some more of My Fair Lady in Brit Lit, and I quite enjoyed the "Show Me" song and hearing the "The Street Where You Live" song again. I *really* love the latter, it's just so freakin awesome. And it's funny, cuz the guy that sings it, by today's standards, would be considered a stalker, LOL!
In Creative Writing, people presented today. And guess what?! I DIDN'T HAVE TO GO (yet)! So YAY! David went today, along with Josie, and OMG, they were both really good and rather amusing. X] I'm still, obviously, freakishly nervous, but I think *slightly* less so. Plus, I spent ALL DAY TODAY memorizing my answers to my questions for my presentation, so if I have to go tomorrow, I'll totally be ready. If not, I GET THE WHOLE WEEKEND TO STUDY! *whoo*
Ugh, when I got home, I had to do the dishes, but that's okay, I got it done kinda fast-ish. Then, my dad gave me Sister Act and Sister Act 2 on DVD, which RULES cuz I love those movies! And then, I found out that we got The Aristocats, which I also love, as well as The Little Mermaid and 101 Dalmations (though, I don't really care much bout those movies). But yeah, that was cooly! And, my dad *secretly* got me a new MP3 player! That plays video! :D :D Incase you can't tell, I'm stoked, lol. But I'm not sposed to let my bro or my mom know bout it yet, which is fine, whatevs, lol.
Okay,
this video right here is FREAKIN HILARIOUS! I didn't actually watch the whole thing, I kinda skipped to the end, but GAH! It's so worth watching, surrsly. Just let it load and click to the end if you don't wanna watch the entire thing. It's a Colbert Report interview with this guy, George Johnson, who I spose is some kind of inventor scientisty type of guy. But the end is so fucking funny!!! Stephen the adorkable sweetie that he is accidentally electrocuted himself and was like, "AHH! FUCK! MOTHERFUCKER!" Nothing better than Stephen swearing on his show. Surrsly.
OH! Jeopardy had an entire category on James Madison tonight! I was like, "GAH! JEN!" XD Ugly Betty was good tonight, but really kinda depressing. I almost cried...almost. SUPERNATURAL! ZOMG! It was *so good*! But really depressing and the previews for next week had me even closer to tears. And it's the fucking season finale next week! It sucks SO MUCH...but I'll get over it. That's what DVD's are for, right?
BTW, "
Hi, I'm Kenny Rogers, and this is Jackass." Enjoy the stupidity. Embrace it.
Tomorrow is FRIDAY! Thank frank, cuz surrsly, I couldn't handle much more of this week, lol! It's also Adam's 17th birthday tomorrow, so HAPPY *early* BIRTHDAY, ADAM! Jen's gonna stay home; 1/2 to do the Senior Skip thing (she couldn't on the actual Senior Skip Day cuz of AP exams), 1/2 cuz she's feelin sick. FEEL BETTER, JEN! Tomorrow is also, ALSO, International Be-Sexually-Inappropriate-With-Your-Friends Day...that title's way too long. Anywho, touch your friends inappropriately and blame it on a Facebook holiday! :D
The title of this post is from the "Pink Panther," starring Peter Sellers. Probably one of the funniest movies I've ever seen, really. Inspector Clouseau (Sellers - who has a terribly French accent) is trying to get a room at a hotel-esque place, and he's talking to this German guy. Clouseau says, "I want a room." and the German guy's like, "A what?" and Clouseau says, "A room!" and the German guy says, "A what?" So Clouseau flips through an "English to German" dictionary and says, "Ein Zimmer." and the German guy says, "Oh, a room!" and Clouseau says, "That's what I've been saying, you idiot." Very, VERY, funny movie. Love it.
Oh! Cheese! Guess what?! My DVR was fixed today! Actually, I got an entirely new box. And the installer guy was MUCH better than the first one that came out. I really hope it'll work now. *is desperate* XD I think it will...but if it screws up again, it'll be "TIME FOR AN OVERHAUL!" *teehee*
Apparently, ComedyCentral.com's response to the fact that I haven't recieved my shirt order yet is to send me a new one. If it's gonna take just as damn long as this one, I'd rather not. But I'm gonna try to be patient (which is unlikely).
Time for me to fly, to quote Speedwagon. And when is it not a good time to quote them, really?
Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*
