Hello people!
I had two really in-depth dreams last night. One of them had to do with porn and that's pretty much all I remember, lol, and the other one was about this serial-killer guy. It was actually pretty cool. I mean, it was horrifying while I was dreaming, but it was awesome when I woke up, LOL. I was a detective and I had two partners, both women, who were helping me get the killer.
We were working with a well-respected detective from another division of our department cuz he had worked up the entire profile on the killer. The killer had this thing about cutting people's feet off or something, it was REALLY weird. And creepy. And at the end, we captured the killer, but it was revealed to the viewers (I guess this was a show...?) that the head detective guy was the actual killer.
It was pretty awesome, lol. Anywho, moving on, I got up at 10:00 today. S'the latest I've slept since I got here. <3 I went down to the kitchen and helped mom unpack shit. It was particularly hot downstairs this morning (did I mention we don't have freaking central AC and have to use individual ACs, which really don't cool down rooms as well as central???). Unfortunately, we don't have ACs downstairs.
We only have them in our bedrooms and we have fans running in the living room. SO, the downstairs is incredibly humid and sticky and gross. I started feeling really nauseous, so I sat for a bit. Um, other stuff happened that I seriously can't remember (what is wrong with my brain?) and eventually, Nick and I went upstairs and brought Celtic with us. We have this cat toy that she LOVES, so we played with her.
We had her jumping around, attacking the toy and it was hilarious and adorable. After about an hour, though, Celtic landed on her right leg wrong and she scurried under the bed, mewing her little head off. We got her out and brought her down to dad to see if her leg was broken - it's not, she just sprained it. Poor thing was freaking out, though. :'( We put her in her cage and gave her some anxiety medicine.
She slept for a while, so I went back to my room and watched some TV. I unpacked a couple boxes that had magazines and fandom-related stuff in them and put that stuff in one of my bookcases. Around 3:30, mom and I went out to the Aviation Mall, whwere there's a Regal Cinema. We went to see The Ugly Truth. It was depressingly predictable and painfully stupid.
I mean, I guess I should've known that, but oh well. I love Katherine Heigl, but she's SOOOO above all the shit she's always in. I wish she would do better movies and suchwich. She deserves it, imo. And maybe it's just me, but I think that guy her character was interested in (Colin, methinks his name was...I dunno who the actor is, never seen him before) was much cuter than Gerard Butler...
Title of this post is from the movie. Ahem. We stopped at this store called The Bon-Ton (it's similar to Macy's), which was on the way out. I got a cute, turquoise-y blue plaid shirt that was on sale. YAY! <3 It was pouring when mom and I got out of the movie, so we decided not to go to Wal*Mart (we actually were going to before the movies, but we didn't leave early enough to do so).
We got home around 6:30 and had spaghetti for dinner. It was DELICIOUS. Now I'm watching Malcolm in the Middle, then we're gonna watch Leverage at 9:00 and the DVR'd ep of Wipeout that is actually on right now (it runs over an hour and Leverage starts at 9:00, so we're just DVRing Wipeout to watch later). And NOW, time for ice cream.
Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*
