I Look Back and Wonder Who I'm Going to Kill First

Hello people!

I had a dream that I was making a video of my brother, his ex-GF and, I imagine, her friend. I was talking to them, ya know, asking them questions and stuff to make the video interesting. They told me that they were going bowling with Niles. As in Niles, the butler, from The Nanny. I flipped and asked if I could go and they said, "sure, yeah, whatever." :D I got all excited...

And then I woke up. *facepalm* Stupid self. I got up to my alarm at 10:00 today. I went out and said hi to mom, who was in a very good mood, for some reason, lol. She informed me that she and dad were going out today and asked if I wanted to come. Of course, I said yes and got ready to go. I watched some Divorce Court, ate a sandwich and played with the kitten before we left.

We went to LOWE'S to look at flooring, countertops and cabinets. It was fun and boring at the same time, lol. Like, I enjoy interior decorating and design stuff, so that was fun, but after a while and mom asking hundreds of questions, it got really dull. I brought my book (The Serial Killers Club by Jeff Povey) with me cuz I knew we'd be in there for a long time.

I ended up reading fifty pages! :D And it's a great book! I mean, it's not, like, blow you away or anything, but it's dark, exciting, interesting and funny! I quite like it. We finally figured out what flooring we want in the kitchen and dining room (tiles and wood, respectively), the kind of countertops we want (gold and black granite, I think...) and mom wants waynes coating on the cabinets.

After that, it was 1:00 and we were all hungry, so teh rents got some tacos for themselves and picked me up some chicken nuggets and a Frosty-cino milkshake from Wendy's. I've never had one of those and it was DELICIOUS. We went to Plato's Closet next, cuz they were finished with our clothes. They offered us $67 for, like, 1/3 of our clothes. We got most of them back, actually.

Imagine what we would've gotten if they took everything! :O Anywho, um, so, we loaded the clothes we got back into the car and headed to Kroger for some grocery shopping. I stayed in the car cuz I was really tired and felt a little sick, and knocked out another twenty pages in my book. We finally went home after that and mom and I finished filling out college forms.

As you can prolly guess, the title of this post is from my book. That's about it. Oh, mom and dad told me about this plan they have for moving. Obviously, someone has to be there for closing, and since mom's actually the one buying the house, it has to be her. She can't drive long distances alone (she used to have severe agoraphobia, but now it's much more mild, she just hates driving alone).

So she wants me to go with her to New York for the closing, and we'll bring the cats and dog along with us. We'll stay in a hotel during the closing. Then, mom will fly back to Ohio on her own, where she, Nick and dad will pack up the moving van and drive to NY together. They'll get there about a day later, come and get me and the pets from the hotel, and we'll all get to the house ASAP.

I think it sounds great, I don't have to be around for the crazy-ass packing of the van and I can just hang out and watch TV and take care of the pets for a couple days. I'm fine with that. SO, I hope we can do it. At this point, it's only an "option." They're not sure if they wanna do it right now, but yeah, I hope they do. Um. The end. :D

Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*
