I Don't Want Any Brisket
Hello people!
Those of you in the midwest know that a huge storm swept through last night (and moved South and, as far as I know, is still going on). Well, at 6:30-ish this morning, there was a huge crack of thunder that was so loud, I can't even think of a fitting way to describe it. It scared me awake and I thought I was gonna have a heart-attack, lol! Thankfully, I went right back to sleep.
I know I had dreams about The Nanny, but I don't remember them, which frustrates me to no end. Mom came in and told me to get up around 10:00. She had Celtic with her and said that she couldn't watch the kitten right now and that I had to. Then she put Celtic on my bed and went back to the living room. I got dressed real quick and grabbed Celtic and brought her back out.
This is just the beginning of this ridiculous, hectic day. Um, I made Celtic food and then talked to mom for a bit; she informed me that we had to clean the house, as well as pack it, because our landlord will be coming by to show off the house while we still live here (which I know is an accepted practice but I think that's incredibly rude). Then she said she wanted to pack some shit.
We packed a bit of the kitchen and tossed out a ton of stuff. It was nearing one and mom started getting ready to go for her 3:00 appointment. She asked me to do a bunch of shit, including cleaning out the kitten's litterbox, which is a small cardboard box with these plastic containers inside (that was mighty difficult and nasty, let me tell you) and packing wine into boxes.
Kurt's WristStrong bracelet came in the mail yesterday, so I wanted to get it in the mail today. Well, we're out of stamps, but mom had a package she had to send to someone, so she had to go to the post office anyway! :D SO, we went to the post office together and I send Kurt's bracelet out! I'm so excited for him to get it! XD Gahhh, I'm all fangirly and squeeful about it, lol.
Um, so, after that, we went to mom's appointment. Oh, when I did all that shit this morning and packed and cleaned and whatnot, I started feeling light-headed and shaking cuz I was just doing so much in such a short amount of time. So, I was exhausted by the time I went with mom to her appointment. I wound up falling asleep in the car, which was awesome cuz boy did I need it.
We had to stop at the store to pick up some stuffs for dinner and suchwich, and we ended up getting way more than planned, lol. We got ice cream (:D) as well as SmartOnes healthy dinners and strawberry yoghurt Cheerios and some other stuffs. <3 And now we're home. Dad and Nick are coming home tonight and I'm not really looking forward to seeing either of them.
I love them, but, I mean, they're on my absolute last nerve. It's been so pleasant not hearing Nick's shit music blaring at 2:00 in the morning. And dad is constantly on Nick's side and never makes Nick work around the house. It's so annoying! And mom knows, but there's not much she can do about it cuz she's not around during the day, like, at all. AND...
There are two bedrooms upstairs in our new house. One is slightly bigger than the other. Logically, wouldn't you think that I would get the bigger one since I'm older and I'm prolly gonna be living at home the second year of college? I mean, it's not even up for discussion in my head, I just assumed I would get the bigger bedroom. But dad, in his annoying ways, thinks Nick should get it.
His argument is that I'm leaving for college for a year, and yeah, I get that and that is a legitimate argument, but he also isn't considering the fact that I'm seriously gonna be coming by the house all the time. I'm not a social person and I'm really not concerned with hanging out with people, I'd much rather spend time with mom (she's seriously my fave person in the world).
So I'm going to be stopping by the house a lot, it's not like they're never gonna see me! AND, dad favors Nick, and it's blatantly obvious. And while mom tends to favor me, if I'm wrong about something, she'll disagree with me. But dad never disagrees with Nick, god fucking forbid we upset Nick's obliviously stupid little world! So I don't know if I'll get the bigger room, but I hope I do.
Sorry for the rant, lol, I'm just so sick of the boys, I really am. This sounds terrible but if it was just me and mom, I would not be complaining. Anywho, um, jamieaiken919 sent me a fucking awesome present in the mail; cut-outs of Kiefer Sutherland from old magazines! OMG they're so sexy, lol, I LOVE THEM. <33333 :] Um, that's about it, lol!
