You Guys Think You're So Genius With Your Teacherness
Hello people!
I'm finding it very hard to write this entry. I can't focus.
Last night, I had a dream that I was working with Jack Bauer to stop...something...bad from happening, but I don't remember the details, unfortunately. I know it was fun, though! XD Um, then I had a dream that I was on Iron Chef: America, but I was in our home kitchen, which is tiny. And I was trying to find more and more pans to use, and none were clean. But I made onions and chicken and...shit, something else.
Uh, then I woke up. At 7:00-ish, and I'd actually slept fairly well. I got up and hopped online and watched 24 and then dad drove me and Nick to school. We got there early, and I intended to play my PSP, but a couple of friends saw where I was sitting and joined me, so I didn't play. Meh. I put a bunch of awesome apps on James Bennett, including DESCRAMBLE, which is, like, the best thing ever. XD
Ya know those little puzzles you get as a kid, where you have to rearrange each little square so that it makes a picture or puts numbers in order? Here's what they look like. Well, I LOVE those, and that's what DESCRAMBLE is. <3 Anywho, I played that kinda, um, all day, lol. And I have the FBI's most wanted terrorists list, and a satellite tracker, and Associated Press' latest news updates! :D WHOOT WHOOT!
Ahem. Um, so, yeah, in myth, we got grade print-outs and guess what? An A, I can has it! :D I got a 99/100 on my poster, which is great, but I'd like to know what I lost the point for, lol. But yeah, I'm plenty happy about that, lol. SO that brings the grade tally to three A's and two D's. *facepalm* All we did in class was look at our grades, so it was kinda boring, but at least we didn't do notes.
We continued our test in math. Um. I actually am feeling okay about the second part. It was synthetic substitution which is fairly easy for me, so...yeah, I think I did okay-ish...I hope so. We've got our notebook test tomorrow, and I don't have half the homework assignments in there. Meh. In AP Gov., we took a quiz on knowing our basic Constitutional rights, and I got almost all of them right!
And do you know how I knew the answers? FROM TV, lol. From watching shows like 24, Leverage, court shows, etc., I totally knew the answers because of the shows I watch. SO WHOOT! I said that to Messick, and Henry heard me mention Leverage and was like, "THAT SHOW IS SO BA." :D I didn't know anyone else watched it, so I'm kinda thrilled that he does, lol! Maybe we can discuss it when it comes back! :DDD
Oh, speaking of Henry, he and Messick have a bunch of on-going pseudo-arguments, one of them being that Henry is smarter than some of the teachers at school. He told Messick that he knew what she was talking about to two other teachers in the hallway, even though she was trying to be all sneaky and covert about it. And then he said that *points to title*. I thought it was pretty funny, but I guess more so out of context, lol.
We started reading some Thoreau in AmLit, and I gotta say, I don't really like him. I don't agree with his way of life, but, ya know, whatevski. In MindCandy, we took pictures of the staff for the magazine (I held up my wrist to show off WristStrong bracelet! :D) and decided that we would have another Gallery X. I dunno if I wanna perform something. Maybe I'll read my murder poem and freak out the attending parents. XD
Actually, that sounds like fun, I think I'll do that. Um, we kinda did nothing else. OH! But I came up with an idea for the three-page story due tomorrow, lol, so yay for that! Mom picked me up early and took me home, then had to leave immediately for her next appointment. I was home alone for a few hours, and I felt like shit (I just started riding the crimson wave today), so I watched an ep of 24, then took a nap.
I still feel like shit and I hate it, cuz it puts me in a severely bad mood and I don't wanna be in a bad mood, lol! I wanna be happy and laugh, but it actually hurts my stomach to laugh. *headdesk* Um, I guess that's it. Dad got me a milkshake from McDonald's, but it kinda makes me nauseous, so I couldn't drink it all. American Idol's decision show is tonight. Teh whoot.
OH! Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage came in the mail today! I dunno if I mentioned it, so basically, I couldn't find it and I think Nick either lost it or traded it in without my knowing about it. So I asked dad to buy me a copy on eBay that was totally in mint condition. He did (for $10! :D) and it finally came today! I can't wait to play it! ...now that I think about it, I think I did mention my sitch...oh well. X]
