What Does "Dointy" Even Mean?
Hello people!
GUH. I'm tired.
Last night, teh rents and I stayed up til midnight watching the rest of Dexter (season 2) cuz it was so fucking amazing, we couldn't turn it off. MAN, it was good. I'm so excited to get the third season when it comes out on DVD. I'm afraid we're gonna have to wait for a while, though, unfortunately. I dunno when the DVDs come out. *shrugs* Anywho, I didn't end up falling asleep til 1:00-ish, lol.
Myth was soooooooooo boring. We had a sub and we just did a worksheet. We went over homework in math cuz no one understood last night's assignment. We had a very small assignment tonight and I got it done in class! :D In AP Gov., we talked about how Presidents get their power and how they lose their power. It was actually pretty interesting. X]
Of course, we read some more Crucible in AmLit. I read way far ahead and finished the worksheet we had to do in class. In MindCandy, we looked over more entries to the magazine. The batch was a little better today, so YAY. I also did a mini!interview about the magazine not being a part of the curriculum next year, so maybe I'll be in the school newspaper? :D That would be AWESOME, lol!
One of the poems said, "dainty as a dove," in one of the lines. Annoying!Kid asked me if it said, "dainty" or "dointy," cuz the writing was just slightly better than illegible. Obviously, it was dainty cuz dointy's not a word, but I started laughing at the thought of making dointy a word. I love making up words, so perhaps dointy would be a good addition to my dictionary...anywho, hence the title of this post.
Mom picked me up and we went to Speedway to get some coffee. OH MAN, it was good, I haven't gotten coffee from there in a freakishly long time. We bopped over to Target cuz mom had a dentist appointment at 2:00, but we had time to kill. We picked up some candy cuz I figured tomorrow, I could suggest a Valentine's Day mini!party in MindCandy for Thursday. We do that all the time.
Then we went to the dentist's office. As it turns out, mom's appointment was ACTUALLY at 1:00 and she spaced and thought it was at 2:00. *shrugs* S'all good, though, they were still able to do her cleaning and stuff. We had to wait for, like, half an hour, though, and while we did that, we watched Jurassic Park on my iPod. Twas fun indeed! ;D
Mom only got half her cleaning done cuz it takes a long time. She's gonna have the other cleaning done a little later, then her wisdom teeth pulled after mom and dad go on their trip in late February (they're going to Florida for a few days!). I informed mom that I really felt like watching Dexter, so she suggested we go get the episodes from the first season that I had yet to see!
We stopped at Blockbuster for a moment, I got the first four eps (as I'm fairly certain those are the only ones I hadn't seen yet) and we came home. Pretty much right when we got home, I watched all four eps. GOD, I wish there were more. *sigh* I can't get it out of my head, it's so amazing. *ahem* Moving on. I fiddled with some pics on photobucket and came up with these:
