Pirate Eyes: They're Watching You

HAPPY NEW YEAR! WELCOME TO 2009!
Oh, man. Last night was insane. INSANE. And it's my fault and I suck for being so procrastinatory, lol, but it's done now. *happy sigh* So, as you know (I think), I submitted my college applications last night. I'm pretty nervous about getting accepted or rejected, but I'm mostly glad the application process is done. I still have to do the financial aid shit, but mom said she's doing most of it, so...
I was up til about 3:00 this morning just sitting do nothing. I slept til noon-ish, when I was awoken by slamming doors. Dad and mom were arguing, though I don't know the cause, they never told me. I took a shower and mom made me some breakfast, which I enjoyed in my room, lol. Then I decided to watch some TDS/TCR. I was gonna make a day of it, but then I got in the mood to play something, so I only watched one ep of each.
I watched the eps from November 20th, which was the last eps for each show before Thanksgiving. They were hilarious, and the title of this post is from the ep of TDS where they discuss pirates. I think it's particularly funny cuz I LOVE the song it's spoofing ("Private Eyes" - Hall &Oates). After that, I decided to play Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness.
I've owned that game twice before, but it's been a while since I played it. GUH, the controls are so hard and I died before I even had a chance to save (I don't think you can save til you beat a level...). I got pissed off, lol, so I switched to The Sims2: Castaway. I made four Sims, one of them was Stephen (duh), and another one was me! XD And I made myself married to Stephen, MOOHAHA. What? I'm not crazy. STFU!
Then I made myself some dinner; pizza rolls and chicken nuggets. Yum! But filling. And now I really want some soda. I think I'll grab a Cherry Coke, lol. That's about it, really, today's been fairly uneventful. Mom and dad seem to be planning a trip somewhere, I think during our Spring Break, which would be kinda cool. We wouldn't be yelled at to do chores all week, lol. XD
I'm gonna write a short Jon/Stephen New Year ficlet and post it a little later. No one else did, lol, and I feel like it's not only necessary, but imperative, that there be a Jon/Stephen New Year ficlet. Hehe! OH! Mom and dad made me watch Eagle Eye last night. It's not...hmm...it's not bad, but it's really weird, imo. But I LOVE Michelle Monaghan (sp?) so it was worth it.
