When did you learn to read?
Ooh, jeez, I dunno...when I was two? Three? What's an early age to learn to read? I know I started earlier than most kids my age at the time, and I progressed to the fourth grade level by the time I was in first grade...but I don't remember when I started reading...oh, bananas.
What would you say is your favorite book?
JURASSIC PARK. As if I haven't said it enough. ;] Seriously, it's masterfully written and I *love* Michael Crichton. He's amazing. The characters aren't developed very much, but they're quite amusing and have amazing interaction. And the plot is fantastic. OH, and the ending is so much better than the movie's ending. It rocks SO HARD. I love this book. And I highly recommend it to EVERYONE.
What would you say is the worst book you've ever read?
Ooh, tough choice, I've read so many crappy ones (school-assigned, of course). Night was pretty bad, imo. As I Lay Dying...A Separate Peace...those are the worst I can think of atm. They really are terrible. I HATED them. Especially As I Lay Dying. I couldn't even bring myself to finish reading it. It sucked so bad. And A Separate Peace I stopped reading about 80 pages in, it was too boring to hold my attention. Oh! And Of Mice and Men. I personally didn't like that book. It was depressing and blah-y.
What would you say was your 'coming of age' book?
Hmm...good question...I'm not really sure...um...I really don't know. I mean, "coming of age" means when did I stop reading kid books and move on to adult ones, right? I just...I can't think of my first adult-ish book, lol. *shrugs*
What would you say is the most controversial book you've ever read?
Ooh! Cooly question! Again, though, I dunno. I don't really read controversial books...oh! Does Inherit the Wind count? I *love* that book, and I can see how it could be considered controversial.
If you could have a library in your home, what would you put into it?
What do you mean, what would I put into it? Like, the type of books? Well...almost everything. Books on SO MANY topics; psychology, philosophy, Ancient Egypt, Greek, Latin, mythology, fiction, SHAKESPEARE, etc. <3
Does unintelligence or ignorance bother you?
OMG SO MUCH. I'm hugely intolerant of stupidity, including grammatical/spelling ignorance, and I constantly correct everyone I know whenever they make such a mistake (and frequently am told off for it, but I don't f-ing care, if they don't want be corrected, they should SPEAK/SPELL CORRECTLY).
If you could write a book, what would it be about?
Murder. I'm fascinated with murder. I dunno why. I love reading about killers and the different ways to kill people and the mind of a killer. It's just crazy interesting to me. But yeah, that's what my first book is about. :] I'm working on it currently(-ish).
What is next up on your reading list?
GUH, SO MANY BOOKS. But I'd really like to read Metal Gear Solid, Hit List, Spiderman: Wanted Dead or Alive, and the Agatha Christie book Jen lent to me. <3
