First of all: We in Germany call it what it is - toilet. Not restroom, powder room or bathroom. I don't want to take a shower there. That would be gross.
The coolest toilets I ever saw were in Albania. A hole in the ground (behind the house) a brick stone left and right from it and a curtain or planks around it.
