Alternatives to Marriage Project fundraising
I was recently elected to the board of the Alternatives to Marriage Project, an organization dedicated to the social and legal equality of all relationship styles. One of the duties of members of the board is, of course, fundraising. And so, I am doing some of that now. Via phone calls-traditionally the most successful form of fundraising.
If you have never given to this organization, I recommend you consider doing so - it's a terrific organization working hard to promote a lot of things I personally support, including marriage equality as well as "unmarriage" equality in health care visitation, benefits, and a host of other things. Go to the website, hit the donate button, and send us money; most of our funding comes from folks like you, giving small to medium sized amounts (from $20 to $100).
