Another Update.
1. Life is chugging along. I've been doing more baking in my downtime, and think that I may yet have perfected my snickerdoodle recipe. Baking and knitting - ah, yes, exciting times in the life of the confirmed spinster! I even have the requisite feline companion. Toby is not impressed with my snickerdoodles, but he does like the various catnip mice I've knitted.
2. Mum and Dad had a wonderful Easter in London. They're hinting mightily that they would like a visit...but I'm not going to do that to Toby unless it's absolutely necessary. Perhaps they could visit me? They have never been to the United States. Certainly they have never seen anything like the Palace.
3. Mathilde has - thankfully! - recovered from the stomach virus, and she's been released from hospital. I'm so glad. She'll be off work for a bit - recovering - but she will make a complete recovery. That's the important part.
Well, back to the kitchen - time for the latest batch of snickerdoodles to come out of the oven.
