Cat on my lap
You know it's getting cold when the cats start seeking heat.
Delilah, our beautiful calico, is a heat seeker. She usually just sticks to waiting until dark and we're settled in bed, and then will find the nearest crotch, or knee pit, or any little wrinkle in the blanket and wedge herself in. Then the purring starts.
But now that it's even colder, she's gotten bolder. As I sat down to use the laptop, she got herself on my lap (pushed the laptop towards my knees), turned around twice, plopped down, and now has her head on my right elbow and is purring away.
It's making me very sleepy. :) But it's also about the cutest thing she's done in a while. When she was about a year old, she lost her purr.... so I'm very happy that she found it again.
