Silent Spring
Last night I caught some of Bill Moyers on WTTW. It was later than I am usually awake but sometime winding down from giving therapy session takes longer than I expect. There is a play written about Rachel Carson that was being feature. She was the author of many good books about nature. She was a zoologist. Her most famous book, Silent Spring, was written to highlight the difficulties of pesticides and herbicides. Unlike her other books, Silent Spring is not a pleasant read. It did impact my thinking and awareness.
