Avoiding fandom

So I've been avoiding fandom, if you were wondering where I've been, for several reasons both positive and negative.

Positively: I've been participating in organizing monetary donations as well as clothing and water for Haiti relief at my school as well as in my (neighborhood) community. It's been taking up a lot of my time not devoted to classes,

YES. Shakes my head that this was actually a long time Chlarker (that I liked BTW) that posted this and I understand that people say stupid stuff in fandom and sometimes out of desperation, but this was just a big deal for me because I'm just so tired of being accused of not being a true Chloe fan because I'm a multishipper, for the most part and I don't have this blind faith in Chlark. As a fan of Chloe, for a long time I told myself that I only wanted Chloe to be happy and that what she really wanted was to be romantically involved with Clark and so I wanted that for her. But I quickly realized that that didn't make me a Chlarker, it just made me a Chloe fan first. I no longer believe that being with Clark will make Chloe happy, because I don't believe that Clark will EVER choose Chloe that way, but that's just MY opinion and it doesn't make it fact. It doesn't mean that I think actual Chlarkers are some how crazy, secret Chloe haters. I respect their ship and their right to ship it.

maybe this one person probably feels that it's that straightforward. Clark between Lois and Chloe making a choice. But life isn't that simple. There are other players on the field.

But I do get the Chlark ship. They've had an amazing friendship for so many years.

SO many others on the playing field! Yes I totally get the Chlark ship, I always have.
