Rosh HaShannah in Tokyo!
I'd wanted to post this last week but life got in the way.
At any rate...
I've been invited to come out to Tokyo to perform a wedding the weekend after Rosh HaShannah and the family has invited me to to arrive early so that I can spend Rosh HaShannah there, as well. So the second week of September, including my 49th birthday, I'll be staying at a nice hotel in Tokyo, seeing some sights, attending services, and performing a wedding. This is definitely one of the coolest things I've done yet as a rabbi (well, it will a cool thing, as it hasn't happened yet.
So I wanted to share that info with ya'll. I'm psyched about it, though it's nearly 6 months away.
