I picked the wrong date...
...to do first major Long Island show.
My Saturday, February 24 show is the same night as a major comic convention that many of my Long Island friends will be attending. Originally the show was to be this past Saturday night, a much better night for all & sundry but the club made a minor booking error and so it's this Saturday instead.
My fear is that nobody will be there at all to see me (at Stephen Talkhouse, Amagansett, NY, 8-10pm, $10 cover) and that the booking guy will not be a Happy Camper.
Time will tell but, in the meantime, if you know folks on the Island, tell them to go to the show!
