The Guitar As a Weapon

There was that old Roy Orbison flick THE FASTEST GUITAR IN THE WEST,http://dr-hermes.livejournal.com/317162.html?thread=931818 and the Bon Jovi song where he apparently thought of himself as a desperado in danger of being shot down any second. ("a loaded six-string on my back.")
