A "Quit India" poster from around 1942. We hear comments about how American comics depicted the Japanese as fanged or buck-toothed midgets with thick glasses, while the Americans were tall muscular heroes but of course the Japanese did the same (reversed of course) in their own comics and posters. India was no exception to the widespread practice.
