where the hell did time go?
A bit of rant
Well RL really intruded the past several weeks and although I posted on my journal it usually was on the fly and only allowed me to skim through postings of friends. So what have I been up to...saving the world? finding a cure for the common cold? helping the poor? No I been up to my ass in beaucratic bullshit otherwise known as university life.
My days consisted of getting up at 430am, run till 6am, be at work at 7am, help with research till 9am, summer camp for the kids till 4 or 5pm, organize and deal with university stuff till 7pm, come home and listen to cats bitch and cook dinner, read work stuff till 9pm and then crash. Weekends weren't much better except insert yard/house stuff in place of kids. So what am I up to now?
My do to list for the next 2 weeks includes:
-determine college football must watch games list for thurs and sat till dec
-finish research in next 2 weeks
-write grants (at least 3) due in oct
-finish diarrhea paper in next 2 weeks
-aid my grad student with his research which starts next week
-get to the dentist
-play and critic wireless computer system for truck
-catch up on liketheriver's stories
-write proceedngs for conference
Yep it never slows down but heh at least I'm starting to make a dent
