so i was pondering life the other day and ive come to this conclusion...it really pisses me off when people tell me to say hi to someone for them. its really pointless...really..it is. lets say i see sandy somewhere and we strike up a convo, then i tell her that johnny and i played bball together the other day. she then would say, "ohhh johnny! i havent seen him in forever? how is he?" i dont know how he is. i'm not johnny. i guess he's good. but he is a teenager so he's probably very MISERABLE BECAUSE NO ONE UNDERSTANDS HIM AND HIS PAIN. he lives in a suburban nightmare! then sandy will say "tell johnny i said hi!" no. i wont tell him you said hi. do i look like a fucking carrier pigeon? you can go tell him hi yourself because telling people hi from someone is the stupidest thing ever. i dont know what people expect when they do this...cuz i'll tell you the only responses you're going to get.
1)Me: hey johnny, sandy said hi.
Johnny: uhhhh...ok
(awkward pause)
2) me: hey johnny, sandy said hi.
Johnny: sandy! i havent talked to her in forever...
(awkward pause)
well tell her i said hi.
3) me: hey johnny, sandy said hi.
Johnny: what a bitch
Me: i know! she's a fuckin whore!
(bashing sandy continues for 45 minutes)
4) me: hey johnny, sandy said hi.
Johnny: Dude i'd tap that
me: HELLZ YEA
personally, i like the 3rd option the most...i guess it could be used as a conversation starter.
but other than that, forwarding messages is pointless.
and everyone should stop doing it.
