My view on tabletop games (coz this came up in a conversation a few minutes ago):
Okay. I think they're for losers, like card games. Yes this means I'm a horribly stereotypical person, but really now. Crad games are for total losers. For gods' sakes, they're CARDS. Mm-hm, I see your mage 'attacking' my elf, and I throw the freakin' dice at you in retaliation.
I collect cards, but for the artwork. Not the games. Pfft. I may not have a life, but I'm beter than that.
But I digress. See, with tabletop games...you make character sheets and pretend you're that character and...do stuff. I dunno. You sit and a circle around the table and talk about what's happening. Like verbal RP. I just know a bunch of people that play D&D and they're all...well, not the most popular people. White wolf games are the only game I could see myself getting into, really. But only because of the werewolves. I just don't see why people waste their lives on it. Convince me it's good, guys, tell me why.
I just...could never play a game like that. No thank you, sir, I like electronic RP better. Yes, I do realize that it's not much coler or better, but for me...I'm a writer. And RPing over the inanet is like...writing a story, each of you taking turns. Would I play D&D if it was online? Maybe. I like making profiles and character sheets, so fine. And as long as I could make a rat flail out of a stick i found and a dead rat, i'm cool. And i want to be a dragon. or something gay like that, not an elf or hobbit. I wanna be something that burns stuff. Hurr.
UM OKAY.
I'm done. Sorry if I offended anyone.
I have nothing against my friends; to each their own. But I'm entitled to MY opinions, and that's how I feel. that, and I'm in a slightly ranty and critical mood. Sry guys, rly.
It's not like I'm much cooler anyways XD
