that's awesome.

i forgot to finish my thoughts last night on marathon training. which basically were that i want to do a 10K then half marathon, eventually. i lack the discipline to train myself i think. how do you do it?

I don't know how I do it. I think I was on a training track without really realizing it since I was running a lot every week. So I decided to just step up the mileage. I've been running 8-11 miles once a week and then running 3-4 other days, usually around 4 miles.

I've also started taking boot camp to strengthen my legs, and yoga to help me not get severely injured and to stretch. I know you already do yoga, and I think you already do strength training, so you've got that part down.

So I guess you should just up your mileage, which will prob come naturally once you do longer races.

yeah that's true. i need to find a couch to marathon program or something, lol.

I wouldn't really say you should go from "couch" since you still run more than a majority of the people I know. :)
