New MMO just announced!
The rumors just came true. The newest MMO has been announced:
Star Wars: The Old Republic
Now I tried Star Wars Galaxies and it was poop. I chalk that up to the fact it was done by Sony OnLine Entertainment. But this one is done by the same people that did Knights of the Old Republic. And it is going to be Story driven like World of Warcraft.
This story takes place 3,500 years before Darth Vader. So that is going to help prevent everyone wanting to be Han Solo or Darth Maul. There are two sides. The Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. I wonder if these will be similar to Horde and Alliance. Allowing people to play both sides. I do know that in the beginning you will align with one of the sides of the force. Your actions through out will affect your power somehow.
I don't know....I will hold off my total judgement until I see more details....but either way, this looks tasty!
