ABC : "What makes you think we're homophobic?"

Another article that made me snort at how a network, especially this one, never runs out of excuses:  'Ugly Betty' goes lesbian?

Of course it isn't homophobia. Why would anyone think that? 

Just two weeks ago, Shonda Rhimes admitted on Twitter that the official statements on behalf of the letting go of Brooke Smith from "Grey's Anatomy" were lies:

Q: The whole 'There was nowhere to go with the character' wasn't very convincing either. You are continuing the story line w/ AZ.
A: You just need to accept that there was a reason that you are never going to know about because there is stuff we don't tell.

Yet, they keep up their same old routine in the media:

Wilding discussed the backlash the show received from viewers after a lesbian character, Erica Hahn, left the show for contractual and scripting reasons.
