my day with many twists and turns
today was outright awful...until my roommate tried to turn it around
so to recap: i had to go to a useless meeting early this morning that made me 45 minutes late to work...as soon as i got there, we got slammed for a couple hours...an employee screwed up big, after already screwing up, and i had to write him up, which i hate doing because i am soooo not that manager, but it was a big and stupid mistake and i'd already been yelled at during the meeting about stupid employees...i survived four hours of work without caffeine somehow, only to have my night's plans with the boy cancelled (though i understood)
but most awkward and awful (and icky) of all, i somehow FORGOT TO WEAR UNDERWEAR TODAY!!! i feel this requires the hardly-any-sleep-early-morning-and-so-not-a-morning-person-putting-on-clothes-is-the-last-thing-i-do-as-i'm-rushing-out-the-door explanation, but it was superbad
then erin decided we needed to drink and she needed to make me dinner, which would have been much sweeter if she hadn't gotten plastered and needed me to take care of her
oh, what a day!
god, please let this weekend go better...
