In addition to my regular eBay auctions, I've got a Big-Ass Mortgage Sale going on: signed/personalized paperbacks of Drawing Blood for $12 and hardcovers of Guilty But Insane for $20. Both prices include U.S. Media Rate shipping. Worldwide air mail also available. Wuxtry! Wuxtry! Get 'em while they last!

It's the first time I've commented on any of your LJ posts but I've been reading for a while now, probably since you sadly stopped writing. I just wanted to say as soon as I get my student loan through (because this is what student loans are for, after all!) I intend to buy one of your lovely signed books. I have all your books currently, from Lost Souls through to your last one, and have read them since I was 13- they got me through difficult, confusing times when no-one else seems to speak to me. I wish as I often do that I could help people more who are in dire straits, but alas I'm a poor student, so I'll do what little I can to help an author who helped me so often when I was down and lost.

I'm glad things seem to be getting slowly better!

Do you think there will eventually be another first edition of Drawing Blood for sale?

This is quite selfishly motivated, but I WISH you would maybe agree to teach at Clarion one year. I understand that you've distanced yourself quite a bit from your previour work/writing, and that it's difficult for a number of reasons and quite likely something you just plain don't want to do...but man, that would be so awesome.

Good luck with the sale - I wish there was something I could do. It's really upsetting to me that someone like yourself - a very well known, talented and popular author - is in a position like this. I'm thinking about picking up the signed Drawing Blood for my friend :)

Neil tried to arrange it one year when I was still willing to consider such things, but they didn't want me, or didn't want to pay me, or something. Not really sure. Now I think it would be a far more intense experience than I'd ever be willing to consider again ... but hey, never say never.

Didn't want to pay you? Well, fuck that!

I applied this year, but the instructors aren't -as- awesome as I'd like. Awesome-ish, though.

When I get an invoice, I'll give you the details. Not done via Paypal, I intend on overpaying :)
