Oh God! That's it exactly! I've never (knowingly) met anyone else who had these dreams, though I knew I couldn't be the only one.

ETA: I know with absolute certainty that the class pictured in the comic is math. Probably trigonometry (*shudder*).

Oh god, I've been having those dreams for the last few weeks too.

They don't help the quality of sleep at all.

Oh, I have dreams like this all the time. Ones of going to college and can't open the locker, can't get to class, missed the test. Whats worse is when I have teaching dreams! (ex teacher here)

I usually chalk them up to anxiety dreams.

You are *definitely* not the only one... I randomly have dreams about being back in high school... and being at risk of not graduating... even though I'm nearly through college (albeit i'm also 30 and have gone to 3 different colleges, but what is important is that I finish for me... not by someone's predetermined time line of how it should be... hehe).. anyway... but yes, you are not alone on the "back in school" dream by a long shot!

I have dreams like this whenever I get anxious about something (consciously or subconsciously). For me, I usually (in dream) realise that the whole premise makes no sense, because I am 24 and a grad student at University. But my dream-peers and dream-teachers just smile indulgently at me, as if I'm slightly retarded, and tell me it DOESN'T MATTER! I have to complete highschool again ANYWAY! (All my achievements rendered useless, blah blah, paging Dr Freud...)

I am 51, and I still have those dreams. And one where I can't find my locker. The XKCD cartoon is frighteningly accurate.
