Here's a story about a guy named Saul and a girl named Lurrie(names changed to protect the individuals portrayed).
Saul and Lurrie met in the summer and immediately hit it off. They were the best of friends(or so it seemed) and soon the relationship turned to a more romantic one. They were the original perfect couple. The cutest "romantic-comedy" couple you could possibly think of times a number greater than one. They were truly deep in love. Their relationship lasted quite a while for their age. For nearly a year they were together. Towards the end it started to disintigrate though. Their communicatoins broke down. They both took eachother for granted and the love turned to distaste. They went their separate ways thouroughly distraught at the way the relationship ended. They niether saw nor heard anything of the other for over six months. But then the conditions changed and the two were forced to see eachother nearly everyday. At the beggining of this new era Saul was very unsure of how to act. He panicked and tried to act as though Lurrie's presence did bother him at all. She thought it best to pretend like the two were the best of friends.
They ended up stopping they charade and working out their differences several months later. Now they are good friends again. Infact they've been hanging out rather closely recently. They understand eachother. They don't even need to talk. It's a sort of connection they have.

Now I will tell you why I told you that story. My thoery is, if you have ever put your tongue down someone's throat, you share a connection with them.
