christmas time is busy
Hello world. it's been a while(again) since I've written. I'm sure you all realize how busy the whole christmas/kwanza/hanuka time can be. what with all the relatives and the family functions and the festive parties. it's wild. but guess what! I've started knitting!!! I'm currently on the easiest project I can manage; a scarf. really now it's just a big rectangle but it's harder than you think. The one I'm doing is really wide and I'm going to make it really really long too. So I'd say it'll take me a good few weeks to finish. it's a whole bunch of neat colours too. the yarn I have keeps fading into different colours.
you know, I really like spelling words like that. colour. I hate the way americans spell it. color. it's just not the same. it doesn't represent the same thing for me. colour has something special that color just can't claim to be part of. it's the original, unchanged spelling. It makes me smile to take the extra fraction of a second to add that "U" while some slob would rather just leave it out.
