Finally a day off
Okay I had a day off on Monday,But I went to a concert. So was not a relaxing day off. Cause Breianna and I were rockin'.
Dean came home at noon and said, do you like the Eagles (the rock group.)? I am like yea, why? He said he got 3 free tickets to the concert.
I am like bummer. I have to work tonight. He said he would take Breianna and see if he could give away the other ticket.
I went to work told my manager that I didn't want to be there. She said why? I told her about the concert and she said, get your butt out of here and go to the concert.
They had more than enough people working and I was out of there.
Got the ticket back and we were on for the concert. Was a blast.
Breianna thought it would be a snore fest, old people music. But she ended up having the time of her life. We hooped and hollered. Had a real
bonding moment. That is hard with a 13 year old. They think that if you are over 20 years old you are old,old,old.
It was a awesome concert, and they put on quite a show.

Now on the other front. I have been busy with work. Folks are fleeing the coast of Texas since Hurricane Ike is heading right for the coast of Texas.
We have been booking rooms that folks generally turn their noses up at.
We have twin sized bedrooms with shared bathrooms that seldom book because folks want comfort. But with faced with sleeping in a gym or in tents folks are saying a twin bed is better than a cot. LOL
We are full to capacity till at least Sunday.
Wish me luck that I don't fall down from exhaustion.
