Traveling is no fool's errand to him who carries his eyes

I bought my plane ticket back to Columbus. I leave this Friday at 9:05 p.m. CST from the lovely (?), if less-crowded, Midway Aiport. I get the privilege of flying the Greyhound-of-the-Skies (or Southwest, whatever you prefer to call it) back to Columbus where I get to see the one and only Ms. ernestinewalker again for a little bit.
And I get to drive! Yay for the pointless burning of fossil fuels that pollute the atmosphere simply so I can spend my time sitting behind the wheel of a car that will soon be sold...
Boo on selling my car...even though I don’t ever want to drive it in Chicago and I’ll save ocho bazillion dollars every month by selling the damn thing, I am going to miss my car a lot. This is the last time that I will ever drive it before my parents sell it to some stranger off the street (at least, I hope the stranger is off the street, it’d be weird if we sold it to the stranger who lives in the back room) Hopefully my parents will sell it to a person with a big yard with a lot of other cars that it can drive around and play with.
And now, right this minute, the thought is desending on me that I will be in Ohio this weekend. Hmmm...I haven’t been there since I moved. This is going to feel weird. Woman, did you get my flight info…tell me you can pick me up at the airport…otherwise It looks like I’m walking to the apartment :-(
And now I’m realizing that when I return on Sunday, I get to fly out of the ever-so-depressing Toledo Express Airport into the ever-so-f'in-busy O’Hare. Two shitty airports...one small commuter plane...all in one day. Can life get any better? (note the sarcasm)
