Originally uploaded by dobrze. Sometimes? When I think about how pretty Billie Joe is and how awesome he is? And how awesome the whole entire band of Green Day is? I sort of want to cry. I have never experienced a band that loves their fans as much as they do. The show is about the fans as much as it is about the music and the band. I did not move from my seat ONCE during this show. It rocked my face off from beginning to end. Every time Billie Joe brought another fan up on the stage, I was as excited for them as I would've been for myself. (Except the dork that said he could play Jesus of Suburbia only to get on the stage and clearly have no idea what he was doing!) Steve and I agreed...one of the best shows we've ever been to. I can't wait to do it all again the next chance I get. I am pretty much obsessed with 21st Century Breakdown. I can't think of any better word for it. I have 3 copies of it and I ordered the vinyl. Yeesh! It's just such a brilliant album in my opinion...musically, lyrically. I cannot get enough. Billie Joe alluded to touring the U.S. again and I WILL BE THERE! I looked to see if there were any other close dates I could catch but it just won't work. That makes me sad but I will look forward to the next time for sure!
