Originally uploaded by dobrze. Okay, let's kick this thing into high gear, people! I will not let my busy life get in the way any longer. So there! Just a few more months. It's not time to give up! So yeah. Where were we? August 9th, that's right. I went to see Dave Matthews Band and Black Crowes with Cheryl, Erin, and Chuck. It was my last Saturday night before the school year officially started. I surely made use of it! It was truly a last hurrah. We had a stinkin' blast, plain and simple. Cheryl was a trooper. She wanted to go really badly so she drove up Friday night and left to go back home Saturday night after the show. You go girl! The weather was perfect. It was hot and sunny. We met up with Erin's brother and his friends to tailgate before the show. We got there right when the gates opened at 2 and tailgated until going into the show around 6:45 or so. Whuuuuuuuut. The Black Crowes were actually disappointing. Booo! They didn't play ANY of their hits. Come on! Give the people what they want!!! You don't have that many hits anyway! Ah, well. Dave was great. We left a little early because I HATE POST CONCERT TRAFFIC and it was my 9th time seeing Dave. No big whoops. Also, Cheryl had to hit the road. It was definitely the perfect way to end my official summer!
